Oct. 1, 2003: It appears that the lazy press in the United States finally got off of their collective butt and started asking questions about the outing of Valerie Plame. Smart money says Karl Rove, Putsch's brain is the one behind it. I look forward to the day when they haul that Nazi out of the white house in handcuffs. It does strike me as funny that the Republicans can't see the need for a special prosecutor especially after looking back when Clinton was in the White House? preliminary investigation of Gore represents progress, however slight.
Appointment of an independent counsel to investigate both the
president and the vice president is inevitable. The longer her delay
in doing this, the longer it will take to get answers the American people
deserve." "At some
point questions must be answered, if only to build confidence that a
rigorous investigation is underway and that Justice isn't merely
circling the wagons to defend the White House." Republicans make me sick. I suppose that those of us who find them repugnant really hit the trifecta yesterday. Seems the propaganda minister of the right wing, Rush Limbaugh, was fired from ESPN for his racist comments, then we found that he is being investigated for illegal drug use, and topping off the news, the White House is under investigation for outing a CIA operative.
